1. What city and year was Guerra Total formed?

A: Guerra Total was created in 1997 at Bogotá, Colombia, in this period of time we called ourselves by another name. In 2002 I changed our name to Guerra Total.

2. What is your role in the band?

A: I am Bass player and occasionally vocalist, also I am the the songwriter

3. At what album did the band start dealing with the cosmos? Was this your most creative period?

A: Well, cosmicism is a literary genre, mainly developed by HP Lovecraft. At some point, I think the "El Armagedón Continúa" album changed our perspective and approach with concepts, music and lyrics.
I started to write with more research background and mature topics such as philosophy, atheism, cosmicism, nihilism and existentialism.
afterwards all our albums are conceptual, in music and in lyrics.

4. How did you come to an idea to do a split with Sabbat? They are very cult

A: Gezol has been a friend of mine since many years ago, Also Sabbat in one of my fave bands. I've been in contact with him since the late 90s / early 00s. Guerra Total participated in Sabbat tribute, Metalucifer tribute, split with Sabbat and Metalucifer.

A: I like a lot of music genres, rock, metal, psychobilly, country, turbofolk, etc. I don't like weed nor Jack Daniels. My only drug is music and a good Whisky.

A: Of course! Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Hendrix, etc. and now the "revival" with Black Magick SS, Edelweiss, Assassination Etc.

8. Can you name 5 of your favourite all time metal bands from Colombia?
